In 2024, Jeff joined Ted B. Lyon & Associates as Special Counsel. For over 30 years, Jeff has been litigating claims under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (“RICO”) Act, 18 U.S.C. § 1961, et seq. For over 20 years, Jeff has also been a RICO educator. He is the author of Grell on RICO and was an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School, where he taught RICO for over 20 years. In the Fall of 2024, Jeff will teach his RICO class at Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law.
Consequently, Jeff has become an internationally recognized authority on RICO. His opinions are sought out by almost every major media outlet, such as CBS News, Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The New Yorker, U.S. News & World Report, USA Today, Vice, Newsweek, News Nation, Sirius XM, Forbes, The Telegraph, The Chicago Tribune, The National Review, The National Law Journal, PBS Frontline, and Voice of America.
